Mission Statement
Sadir’s Legacy League was created to honor the life, passion, and spirit of our beloved brother Sadir Glover, whose courageous battle with Leukemia ended in 2016 but continues to inspire us all. Sadir’s Legacy League is not just a celebration of his love for the game but a heartfelt tribute to the impact he has made on all of us.
Sadir brought nothing but love and joy to those who surrounded him in ways that we can never forget. The loss of our brother has made us want to help those who are in similar positions as he was. Ultimately this has driven us to build a community with purpose and passion built on love, humility and family.
Together our mission is to raise awareness for not only Leukemia but all types of cancer, host fundraising events throughout the year to help fund research and provide vital support to families affected by cancer. We also want to emphasize the importance of healthy living, nutrition, mental health and self care as well as inspire individuals to prioritize their mental health and well-being. Lastly, we aim to give back to kids & families during the holidays when they can't be home to celebrate. We want to make their time worthwhile and give hope to them in the most difficult times of their lives. Every donation made during this event and throughout the year is a step toward a brighter future; one where no child and family has to face these battles alone.
